Assigning a planned assignment to an associate

Supervisors can assign planned assignments to associates on the Unassigned Work screen or the All Work screen.

To assign planned assignments to an associate:

  1. Depending on the screen you are on, select the menu path:
    • For Unassigned Work screen, select Execution > Productivity/Labor > Supervisor > Unassigned Work.
    • For All Work screen, select Execution > Productivity/Labor > Supervisor > All Work.
  2. Enter search criteria.
  3. Select Actions and click Search. A screen is displayed with a list of assignments matching the criteria.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Enter an associate ID number in each User ID column cell corresponding to each planned assignment.
    • Click the Lookup icon and select an associate ID number. The system displays a list of user IDs. Click the check box to select the user name you want to associate with this assignment.
    Note: Fields on the Search screen are case-sensitive.
  5. Click Actions and select Make Assignments. The following occurs:
    • Each assignment is assigned to a specified user.
    • The user activity record for each assignment updates to show the appropriate User ID.
    • The status of each assignment is changed to Assigned.
    Note: After an assignment is assigned, you cannot edit it on the Unassigned Work screen. You must edit these assignments on the Assigned Work screen or the All Work screen.
