Creating holds by license plate

  1. Click New > Hold by License Plate. The Holds pop-up window is displayed within the search view.
  2. Use the Search option to display a list of candidate license plates to be placed on hold. Columns available for search include:
    • Owner
    • Item
    • Lot Number
    • Location
    • License Plate
    • Status
    • Qty
  3. Click the More Fields button to display additional search criteria for Lot Attributes 1 – 12.
  4. Click the Search option to display of list of inventory records meeting the criteria.
  5. Select the license plate level inventory records to place on. You can place multiple inventory records on hold.
  6. Select a Hold Reason. The same reason code is applied to all license plates that were selected.
  7. Enter a Comment for the hold. This will apply to all lot holds created at this time.
  8. Click Save to create inventory holds. The pop-up screen closes. You can apply multiple hold types to each license plate. If a hold record exists for the LPN and reason code, it is not updated. Only new holds are created for the specified reason.
