Closing a transship ASN

After you have verified and received expected items from the Transship ASN, the next step is to close the Transship ASN record in the application. You can use an RF device to complete this process. When the Transship ASN record is closed, it notifies the application that the expected amounts are received and the transship ASN is no longer needed.

To close the transship ASN:

  1. Select Main > Receiving from the RF device. The Printer ID (PID) screen is displayed.
  2. Specify the printer ID and press Enter. The Receiving Menu (RCM) screen is displayed.
  3. Select More Options.
  4. Select Crossdock Menu. The Crossdock Rcpt (RCM) screen is displayed.
  5. Select Transship. The Transship Tasks (TRT) screen is displayed.
  6. Click Close Trnship. The TR Closing (CT) screen is displayed.
  7. Specify the External Shipment Number press Enter.
  8. Verify the data and specify additional information in the Comments field.
  9. Press Enter.
  10. Repeat the process beginning at step 6 until all records are closed.
  11. To return to the main menu, press Esc.
