Creating holds by location

  1. Click New > Hold by Location. The Location Holds pop-screen is displayed search view.
  2. Use the search feature to display a list of candidate locations to place on hold. Columns available for search include:
    • Location
    • Location Type
    • Zone
    • Location Flag
    • Location Category
    • ABC Classification
    • Level
  3. Click the search icon to display of list of locations meeting the search criteria.
  4. Select location records to place on. You can place multiple location records on hold.
  5. Select a Hold Reason. The same reason code is applied to all location records you previously selected.
  6. Specify a Comment for the hold. This will apply to all lot holds created at this time.
  7. Click Save to create inventory holds for each location you select. The pop-up screen closes. You can apply multiple hold types to each location. If a hold record exists for the location and reason code, it is not updated. Only new holds are created for the specified reason.
