Several key configuration components for dynamic picking are found on the item. See the Infor WMS Configuration User Guide for information on defining these elements.
General tab
- Pack – Sets the unit of measure to be used for the item.
- Carton Group – Breaks items into different groups if you are using cartonization with dynamic picking.
- Shelf Life indicator – Indicates whether shelf life rules are to be followed.
- Shelf Life Code Type –Value used to calculate shelf life conformity.
- Inbound Shelf Life – Number of days to calculate shelf life at receiving.
- Outbound Shelf Life – Number of days to calculate shelf life at picking and shipping.
- Lottable Validation – Rule defined to ensure the correct lot attributes are captured when the item is received.
