Logging on Linux server
-
Start Meta RF with a lowercase L,
-l.
- The folder for the
direct output should be pointed to the
$TMPDIR environment variable. The
$TMPDIR variable can be setup in the
user’s
.profile
or
.bashrc
file. If the
$TMPDIR variable is not setup, the default
folder is
/tmp
. The user’s account must have read and
write permissions on this folder.
-
Set the
$TMPDIR environment variable to control which
folder the
metarf
log files are to be written. For example:
export TMPDIR=/u01/infor/sce/scprd/logs/metarf
- If you do not
explicitly set
$TMPDIR to a folder, then the default
folder on Unix or Linux for
$TMPDIR is
/tmp
. The rfuser account must have read and
write permissions to create and write log files in that folder.
-
Sign out, and then run Meta RF with the
-l parameter.
