Chinese start-up file configuration
For Linux installations, use the GNU Bash shell and add these required settings to the start-up file:
- export LANG=zh_CN.utf-8
- Optionally, to export the HH_locale and HH_device environment variables in the start-up file, specify this information to override the
metarf.ini
and PuTTY environment variables: - export HH_device=16x20
- export HH_locale=zh

An example .profile
is loaded into the metarf folder called .Linux_profile. This example shows the language of en_US.utf8, LD_LIBRARY_PATH env variable and TERM setting. You can use these settings when you setup your .profile
for the RF users. Set the language accordingly. All RF users must have read access to this directory and all its subdirectories.
