Saved Filters – Specific filter

The Save Filters screen is divided into two parts. The top portion of the screen lists some of the filter attributes. If required, you can change the filter name and make it a default filter.

The bottom portion of the page contains two tabs. One tab displays the Filter Header information which shows the general limits that you use for the wave. The other tab contains Filter Details. You can edit the details of a saved filter including the Order Field, Operator, First Value, Second Value, and And/Or fields.

You can modify information on both tabs to change the filter. Click Save to save any changes.

You can create multiple waves using the scheduler job using the Maximum settings. The waves are optimized to approach maximum efficiency as follows:

  • If the Order Field to Break Into Multiple Waves field value is not specified, the system creates an optimized wave.
  • If the Order Field to Break Into Multiple Waves field value is specified and the Use Break Selection Before Min-Max Criteria checkbox is selected, the system creates the multiple optimized waves.
  • The system attempts to reach the maximum value without exceeding the general limit. The first maximum value reached is the cutoff for the wave.
  • Additionally, the system attempts to reach the maximum by going through the list of orders that are eligible to be on the wave. The list is sorted by external order number. The system skips orders that can cause the wave to exceed the maximum and moves on to the next until the bottom of the list is reached.
  • If multiple waves are created, the system skips orders that can exceed the intended maximum threshold. Subsequently, upon constructing the next wave, the system initiates the first skipped order and continues through the list.
