Background Processing

This provides another method to perform select Actions (Allocate Wave, Release Wave, Ship Wave) on the wave. Normally these processes run from the user interface while the user is waiting. If a large wave is being processed, the operator cannot use the workstation for any other activity while the process is running.

Using Background Processing submits the job to a queue in the background allowing the operator to perform other tasks while the job is running.
