Performing a mass update

The Wave Maintenance page contains several buttons that initiate actions and processes for the wave. One of these selections is the Mass Update button. You can use the Mass Update functionality to update all orders on a wave with information you specify. Note that both WM and Wave planning databases are updated with the information.

To perform a mass update:

Select Wave > Execution > Maintain Waves. The Wave Maintenance list is displayed.
Select the wave you want to update.
Click Mass Update. The Mass Update screen is displayed.
Specify this information:

Route

This is the route code for the delivery.

Stop

This is the stop number for the delivery route.

Door

This is the door where the shipment is loaded.

Stage

This is the staging area for the shipment that is used prior to loading.

Carrier

This is the carrier to use for the shipment.

Priority

Select the applicable priority from the drop-down list.

Master Allocation Strategy

Select the applicable master allocation strategy from the drop-down list.
Click Update All or Update Blanks to perform the data updates.
- Update All updates all shipment orders included in the wave with the information you enter.
- Update Blanks updates only the shipment orders in which the header information is not specified.
The screen closes automatically once the update is complete.
