Common examples of RF-assisted and RF-directed replenishment
- The picking shift has been completed and the warehouse needs to replenish the picks before the release of the next wave.
- The Allow Over-allocation option, which allows the application to allocate more than the pick currently has based on reserve availability, is enabled and the forklift operators plan to replenish during picking.
- Paper-based replenishment reports do not take into account what is currently being picked, allowing fixed pick locations to become empty before replenishment.
The application uses a table in Infor WMS Warehouse Management called SKUxLOC to determine which locations need replenishment. This table contains one record for each item and location combination.
Note: The information that displays in the SKUxLOC table is also found on
the Assign Locations tab of the Item screen. See the
Infor WMS
Configuration User Guide
for more information.
You can also see the Infor WMS Picking User Guide for information on cherry pick replenishment.
