Verifying host application process complete before received goods allocated

In some instances, a host application (for example, an ERP) process must be complete before received goods are available for allocation within the SCE application. The host application can set the Host Processing Required field on the ASN Detail when creating the ASN through the API. When this box is selected, a "HOST" hold is applied to each LPN received for the line. When the host application processing is complete, the host sends a message to release each LPN "HOST" hold.

To manually maintain the Host Processing Required field in the warehouse:

  1. Select Inbound > ASN/Receipt Detail from the WMS menu. The ASN/Receipt Detail screen is displayed..
  2. Click the Search icon. The list of receipts is displayed.
  3. Select a specific ASN/receipt. The ASN/receipt details are displayed.
  4. On the ASN Detail tab, select the Host Processing Required field check box.
  5. Click Save.
