Defining valid Putaway Class codes

To configure putaway classes in system codes:

  1. Log on as a warehouse user.
  2. Select Configuration > Codes > System.
  3. In the List Name field specify PACLASS and press Enter.
  4. Select the Putaway Class code to display the detail.
  5. Click New to create the putaway class codes as needed to support the operation. A Putaway Class is used to indicate the items that can be received and stored together on a single pallet. The putaway class is used within the putaway strategy to direct mixed license plates to the desired zone or location during putaway.
    Note: The receiving process will prevent items from different putaway classes to be received onto the same pallet.
  6. Click Save.
