Manually generating an RF-directed putaway task

This section describes how to manually generate a putaway task.

When receiving partial pallets, the application does not automatically generate a putaway task. You must indicate that a pallet is ready to be put away using an RF option called PALBLDDONE. This is an abbreviation for the phrase Pallet Build Done.

PALBLDDONE is not a part of product receiving. It acknowledges that the ID is ready for putaway and generates a putaway task. PALBLDDONE is necessary only if you are using Task Manager to put away product.

To use the PALBLDDONE option, you must do two things:

• Configure the Task Manager to allow for PALBLDDONE tasks.
• Use the receipt screen to generate a task using PALBLDDONE.
