Generating a putaway task

To generate a Putaway task:

  1. From the RF device Main menu, select Receiving. The Receive Tasks (RCM) screen is displayed.
  2. Select Standard. The Receive (D1) screen is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    OWNR
    Owner of the item.
    ITEM
    Item or product being put away.
  4. Press Enter. The application enters information in the Item field.
  5. In the fields shown below, specify this information:
    • ASN – Enter PALBLDDONE.
    • PO – Purchase Order number; leave blank.
    • QTY – Enter 0 to move the entire quantity.
    • UOM – Unit of measure; leave blank.
    • PACK – Pack code for the item; leave blank.
    • ID – Drop ID for the item.
    • HOLD – Hold code for the item (optional).
    • ISRP – Is Rainbow Pallet? Leave set to N.

    All individual LPNs are now associated with the Drop ID.

    Infor WMS Warehouse Management calculates the putaway locations based on the value that displays in the Calculate Putaway Location field. Individual task detail records are created, using the individual Pallet IDs as the IDs to be put away.

    Note: After you use PALBLDDONE, the application considers the Drop ID closed. Do not attempt to add more products to the Drop ID.
