Configuring planned assignments

Planned assignments are created during the allocation process for both paper-based picking and Task Manager picking. Using the Create Assignment option, you can group logistically-efficient picking tasks during the allocation process. Each group of picking tasks is given an assignment number.

Associates receive planned assignments when they log on to Task Manager with appropriate picking permissions, or when they choose to use the Assignment picking option by entering a specific task they choose to pick. As associates complete assignments, the application tracks the picking activity. Supervisors can monitor picking activity and reassign tasks from incomplete assignments.
