Activating the Zone Break option

When the Create Assignments option is selected, the system creates assignments based on the rules found on the first zone for the pick locations. The application continues to base planned assignments on those rules until it encounters a zone for which the Zone Break option is selected.

The application applies the rules of the current zone and continues to apply those rules until it encounters another selected Zone Break option, and so on.

To set the Zone Break option for a zone:

  1. Select Configuration > Zone. The Zone screen is displayed.
  2. To display a list, use the Search feature.
  3. Click the Detail icon for a zone. The Zone Detail screen is displayed in Form view.
  4. Click the Assignment Rules tab.
  5. Select the Zone Break option.
  6. Save the record.
