Starting and ending work for labor

Before an associate can perform tasks or activities, the associate must start a work tracker. This work number records all of the tasks and activities the user performs while that number is in process. You can end the work after each type of work you perform or you can end work at the end of the work day.

To start work from the RF device:

  1. From the RF device Main menu, select More.
  2. Select Labor.

  3. Specify the action to take:
    • To start work, select Start Work.
    • To end work, select End Work.

  4. Specify the Equipment ID if it is different from your current equipment assignment.
    Note: If the equipment check selection within the system settings is turned on and there is a equipment check strategy tied to the equipment ID, equipment checks questions may display once you press Enter.   5. Specify the Owner, if available, for your assignment.
