Accepting and completing assignment picking
To accept and complete an assignment using the RF Task Manager:
- From the WMS Main Menu, select Picking. The Pick Menu is displayed.
- To perform a specific assignment number, select Assignment Pick. The Assignment Pick (LAPK1) screen is displayed.

To receive the pick task, enter the
optional Equipment ID and the required
Assignment #.
- Press F2 or the looking glass icon to look up the assignment number. The Assignment List (CRESLT) screen displays the open work assignments. Select the applicable assignment by pressing Enter or left clicking on the assignment. The Assignment Pick (LAPK1) screen is displayed again.
- Press F6 to print the container labels. This setting is based on the system settings defined in the WMS application. For example, If the USELOGICALFROMLOCASSIGNLABELS parameter is enabled, labels are printed in the Logical From Location sequence.
- Press Enter to view the PK Assignment (TASSG) summary screen.
- To accept the assignment, press Enter. The Pick (TPKASS) task screen displays with details about the first task in the planned assignment.

Press Enter and the system checks
whether the Barcode UOM Scan for the Pick
check box is selected.
If the check box is not selected, then the Pick (TPKASS2) screen is displayed.
- Specify this information:
- From
- Specify the location from where the item is picked.
- Item
- Specify the item name.
- Qty
- Specify the amount of items picked.
- Press Enter and the Pick (TPKASS3) screen is displayed where you specify Case and Pos information.
If the check box is selected, then the Pick (ECPKASG2) screen is displayed.
- Specify this information:
- From
- Scan the location from where the item is picked.
- TLpn
- Scan the license plate number associated with the product in the location you are picking to.
- Case
- Scan the case ID.
- Lpn
- Scan the license plate number associated with the product in the location you are picking from.
The system then displays the Pack, UOM, Eqty (Expected quantity), SQty (Scanned quantity), Rqty (Remaining quantity), Desc (Description), and Item.Note: The Rqty field is hidden by default and is enabled through WMS Mobile Personalization. The remaining quantity will be reduced based on the increased amount of the scanned quantity. - Scan or enter the item or alternative item.Note: Scanning the original item increases the quantities by 1. If you scan an alternative item, then the scanned and remaining quantities will increase based on the quantity from the pack.
- Press Enter. If you enabled the
Qty field through WMS
Mobile Personalization, you can enter a specified
scanned quantity amount. The system removes the amount from Eqty and the Sqty
increases with that amount.Note: You can scan or enter extra quantities if the system allows for over picking.
- Specify this information:

If you want to stop the scanning process, press F4. The system will display a confirmation message with Yes and No options:
- Selecting No, the system will return to the Pick (ECPKASG2) screen.
- Selecting Yes, the scanning will confirm picking completion and compare the scanned and expected quantities. If the scanned quantity is less than the expected quantity, then the Enter Rsn Code (TPKR) screen will display to enter a short reason code. Press Enter.

If you want to request a new container for a pick, press F7. The system will display a confirmation
message with Ok and Cancel options.
- Selecting Cancel, the system will return to the Pick (ECPKASG2) screen.
- Selecting Ok, the system will generate a new container ID. The new ID will be applied to the remaining quantity of the current or future picks for the assignment. All of the current pick details are updated with the new container details.

From either the Pick (TPKASS4) or Pick by Order
(TPKO4) screen, specify this information to complete the picking
process:
- Ctype
- Confirm the carton type for the container you use for the pick contents. This must be a valid carton type.
- to
- Confirm the pick to location.

Press Enter to complete the picking process.
Note: You can abort the current picking process by pressing the Esc button. The TM Pick (TM33) screen will be displayed where you can enter a Reason into the field. Press Enter and the current pick is updated based on the reason code.
