Using other available functions within the Packing Screen
Several additional functions are available within the packing screen. Many of these options perform the same processing as the corresponding options found in RF QC Packing.
- SPS (Small Parcel Shipping) Button
- When you click the button, a pop-up window to send the Pack To Container to SPS for rating and label printing is displayed.
- Create/Update To ID (Action)
- When you select , a pop-up window is displayed that can be used to create or update the Drop ID information for the To ID.
- Pack Entire From ID (Action)
- When you select , a pop-up window is displayed that can be used to repack/nest the From ID into the To ID.
- Unpack To ID (Action)
- When you select , all packed details are unpacked from the To ID making them eligible to be packed again.
- Complete From ID (Action)
- When you select , a validation is performed to verify that the From ID has been fully packed.
- Complete To ID (Action)
- When you select , a validation is performed to verify that the To ID can be completed. A pop-up window is displayed to accept the final pack location.
- Ship To ID (Action)
- When you select , all details are shipped within the Pack To Container.
- Swap From & To (Button)
- When you click the button, the From ID and the To ID are swapped. This makes it possible to use the various features that are only available for either the From or the To.
- Reports and Labels
- You can print Reports and labels by clicking the and buttons. Automatic background printing can also be set up using the selections on the Owner and Ship To.
- Blind Packing
- Blind Packing is a type of workstation packing. You can access the blind packing screen by selecting . Blind Packing is used as a quality control measure to ensure that the user scans every item and does not have knowledge of the expected quantities. Blind Packing is similar to regular workstation packing, but some of the quantity values are hidden from the user. The From Contents tab does not allow the user to pack from the list view. The user must pack using the Scan Pack pop-up window.
