Defining an Operation

The Operation is the highest level work operation. Operations are linked to WM tasks to identify how to calculate standards for different task types.

The Operation consists of a set of elements, which can be conditional. When an operation record to calculate labor standards is reviewed, all of the conditions are checked and all of the qualified elements are identified. The standard is then calculated based on the times and frequency units identified for all qualified sub-elements for each element.
