RF screen user interface
When you successfully log in to the application on an RF device, the application is displayed with the menu. To begin using the application, select an item from the menu.
Use an RF device to accurately collect data about items, locations, and status by scanning barcodes or by entering codes on the device keyboard. The device then sends data to the application database using radio transmitters. RF devices can query and update the database in realtime.
Using an RF device, warehouse and dock personnel can perform many activities including the following:
- Transmit information while receiving, putting away, moving, or picking items
- Receive information about pallets, locations, lots, and items in a facility
- Take physical inventory and cycle counts
- Dispatch tasks through the Task Manager, such as moves, picks, cycle counts, putaways, messages, and inspections.
