Selecting a facility

If your organization is operating in a multi-facility configuration, you must select the facility in which to work after you log in to a workstation.

To select a facility:

  1. Log in to a workstation.
  2. Click Facility.
  3. Perform one of the following:
    • To view and edit screens for the enterprise, select ENTERPRISE.
    • To view and edit screens for a specific warehouse, select the warehouse name.

    Once Enterprise or a specific Warehouse Facility is selected, the entries available within the selected facility are displayed on the left portion of the screen.

  4. To switch to another facility, repeat step 3.
    Note: Switching to another facility closes all tabs for the previous facility. If unsaved information is present, the application prompts if you want to save it.

    You do not need to logout before switching facilities.

    Multi-facility configuration defines a nested operational structure for an organization. Within this structure you can define multiple divisions, distribution centers, and warehouse facilities. Transactions for each warehouse are held on an individual schema. Company-wide data are held on an enterprise schema.
