Creating holds with inventory holds maintenance

This section describes how to put inventory on hold from the Maintain Holds screen including:

• Placing a lot, license plate, or location on hold.
• Removing a lot, license plate, or location from hold status.

  If you allocate an inventory record, you cannot place it on hold. You can use the Unallocate Pick Details screen (Outbound > Unallocate > Pick Details) can be used to make these records eligible to be placed on hold.

When you create inventory holds, you use a different search screen depending on the type of hold (lot number, location, or license plate). To create these holds, select Execution > Inventory > Maintain Holds. The Inventory Holds is displayed.
