Performing a drop ID details inquiry

The Drop ID Details option shows carton IDs or other drop IDs consolidated with the drop ID that the RF device operator entered.

This section describes how to investigate the details of a particular drop ID. You can use this option to determine the child ID and type, external order number, owner, item, and quantity for that drop ID.

To perform an inquiry on drop ID details:

  1. From the RF device Main menu, select Inquiry. The Inquiry Tasks (IQ) screen is displayed.
  2. Select Drop ID Details. The Drop ID Inquiry screen is displayed.
  3. Specify the Drop ID and press Enter.
    The Drop IDRID IQ Result screen is displayed. The screen displays the first record that matches the inquiry.

    Drop ID
    Drop ID.
    Child
    Case ID to which this pick was assigned during allocation.
    Type
    Child ID type, such as PickDetail or Pallet, based on what was assigned to the drop ID.
    External#
    External order number from the shipment order.
    Owner
    Name of the owner of the item.
    Item
    Item code.
    Quantity
    Quantity of the item packed to the drop ID.
    Drop Loc
    Location of the drop ID.
  4. To scroll the inquiry results, press 6 (forward) or 4 (back).
  5. To return to the Drop ID Inquiry screen, press Esc.
