Performing a case contents by pick inquiry

The Case Contents by Pick option reviews the contents of a carton ID by displaying each pick that was performed to fill the pallet, carton, or tote.

This section describes how to investigate the pick details associated with a Case ID.

To perform a Case Contents by Pick inquiry:

  1. From the RF device Main menu, select Inquiry. The Inquiry Options (IQ) is displayed.
  2. To view case contents, input the Case ID and press Enter.

    The Case ID information is the Case ID assigned by the system as part of the allocation and cartonization process. The Case ID is a unique number that indicates the items and quantities that should be picked and packed together for outbound orders.

  3. The Case Contents (IQ05) screen is displayed.

    This screen displays a separate page for each Item expected in the Case ID. The count of the number of records can be seen at the top part of the result screen. To scroll through the list of records, use the 6 key to move forward and the 4 key to move backwards.

    Note:  To open an Options screen, you can press O which allows you to move content between totes. See the Infor WMS Picking User Guide for more information.
  4. To return to the Case ID Inquiry screen, press Esc.
  5. To return to the Inquiry Options menu, press Esc.
