Creating physical inventory holds for New Physical Inventory ID

You can create inventory holds for locations affected by the physical count parameters. The New Physical Inventory IDscreen is used to prevent activities during the count process and can be done before or after the count record is created. Inventory holds are indicated with the reason code PIHOLD (Physical Inventory Hold).

  1. Select WMS > Execution > Cycle Count > New Physical Inventory ID. TheNew Physical Inventory ID screen is displayed.
  2. Click Search. The list of new physical inventory records is displayed.
  3. Select the required new physical inventory ID.
  4. Click Put Inventory on Hold from the Actions menu. The inventory hold is created.
