Reviewing pre-populated inventory adjustments

You can review pre-populated inventory adjustments based on Task Manager/RF-directed cycle counts.

To review the pre-populated inventory adjustments:

  1. Select Execution > Cycle Count > Maintenance. The Cycle Count list view displays.
  2. Click Search to display all of the cycle counts; or specify search criteria into the column header fields and click Search to display cycle counts matching the search.
  3. Select the applicable cycle count entry within the list. The Cycle Count details view displays.
  4. Select a detail line from the list of cycle count detail entries displayed in the bottom portion of the screen. The line entry details display. The quantity counted (displayed in the Qty Counted field) for the line detail that was posted now reflects the new application balance for the record.
  5. Evaluate the counts and determine which records, if any, are accurate and should be posted.
Note: If a cycle count requires manual posting and none of the detail records are considered to be accurate, you can leave the status as Out of Variance. You can request a new count by creating a new Request to Count.
  6. After modifying the detail record, click Save to update the status to Posted.
Note:
  • The Reference Number field displays the PI control or other reference number, passed from a host system used for traceability between Physical Inventory and the CC Request. You cannot modify this field and is populated only if a host system triggered the count request using a BOD.
  • The Initiating Document field displays the document reference, or ID passed from a host system, which can be used for troubleshooting a Host Directed Count. You cannot modify this field and is populated only if a host system triggered the count request using a BOD and sent a value for this field (optional).
  • The Host Directed check box indicates if the request is created by a host system (that is, an ERP). When used this is also referred to as a Fiscal Driven Cycle count. You cannot modify this field and is populated only if a host system triggered the count request using a BOD.
