Viewing and removing inventory holds from RF
Operators are able to view and remove inventory hold records from the RF device.
To view or remove hold information:
- From the RF Main Menu, select Inventory Control. The Inventory Control (Y1) screen displays.
- Select Remove Hold. The Remove Hold (HR1) screen displays. This screen is the search screen used to display hold information.
- Specify information in one of the fields to look for active holds.
- Press Enter to start the hold creation process. The HC4 screen displays.

Specify this
information:
- Item
- Specify an item number to display each type of hold on the item.
- Location
- Specify the location for which to view holds.
- License Plate
- Specify the License plate for which to view any active holds.
- Lot Number
- Specify the system Lot for which to view holds.

Press
Enter to display
inventory hold records based on the search criteria entered. The
Remove Holds (HR2) screen displays.
- Loc
- This will only be populated if there is a Location hold found.
- LPN
- This will only be populated if there is a License Plate hold found.
- Lot
- This will only be populated if there is a Lot hold found.
- User
- The user who created the hold.
- Date
- The date the hold was created.
- RelDt
- The Release Date if the hold record was created as an Automatic Hold to be applied during receiving.
- Rsn
- The Reason Code for the current hold.
- Hold Comment
- The comment applied to the current hold.

Use the
4 and
6 keys to scroll through
the hold records.
Note: Each inventory record impacted by the hold will be listed on this screen. For example, if a lot hold exists that has 20 license plates, a separate license hold record will be listed for each license plate.
- If you are just viewing the hold information and do not want to remove the hold, use the ESC key to return to the search screen without impacting inventory hold information.

To remove the current
hold, use the
F5 key.
- ALLOWRFAUTOHOLDRELEASE
- This flag controls
if automatic holds can be released from RF prior to the date and time it is
expected to be released on.
- If the flag is OFF, the hold cannot be removed
- If the flag is ON, the operator will be notified that there is an automatic hold that has not reached the release date, but will be given the opportunity to remove the hold
