Automatic inventory purge

This section identifies the steps for configuring automatic inventory purge process application options within Infor WMS Warehouse Management.

Without this process, application data records with zero balances containing the greatest amount of detail of inventory would be retained in the database until a system administrator initiated a purge process.

If these records are left to accumulate in the database, they can significantly affect application performance and distort inventory information estimates.

This document shows you how the application can be configured to automatically remove or delete zero-balance records from the application.
