Clean location

The Clean location field is on the Detail tab of the Zone Detail screen. To open the Zone screen, select Configuration > Zone. If the Clean Locations check box is selected, then the RF user is sent to the same location repeatedly until the location is cleared (cleaned out) of that Item.

The application selects the location with the best eligible date based on the defined rotation rules for that item. If two or more locations contain an item with the same best eligible date, the application uses alpha-numeric location sequence. Once the location is determined, the application disregards all other rotation rules such as FIFO and Lottable04 date sequence.

Having Clean Location functionality set at the Zone level allows the picker to group certain locations together into a zone where a clean-out location is needed. Pickers can also group other locations into zones where a clean-out location is not needed.
