Retrieving RF-directed load tasks

The Task Manager interacts with load maintenance and transship operations to generate loading tasks. Move tasks do not need to be completed in the application before retrieving load tasks because transship containers are essentially ready for shipment.

  1. From the RF device Main menu, select Task Manager. The Task Manager (TMM) screen is displayed.
  2. Select RF Loading. The RF Load (LD1) screen is displayed.
  3. Specify information to confirm the route and door.
  4. Press Enter.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • To get the next task in queue, press Enter.
    • To Cancel, press Esc.
  6. Press Enter. The screen for the first load task is displayed. Complete each load task as directed by the system.
    Note:  When retrieving a load task, you can enter a route, a door, or both. After you enter this information, the application searches for the first pending tasks for a load associated to the route or the door. If more than one load record with open load tasks has the same route or door information, the application retrieves the load that was entered first.
