Pack tab

Use this tab to specify the pack code related details such as name, description, account entity, unit of measure (UOM), and units per pack (UPM).

You can specify this information on the Pack tab:

Pack

Name of the pack code. Required.

Pack Description

Brief description of the pack code.

Accounting Entity

Identifies that the pack is tied to a specific Accounting Entity/Owner product. Optional; blank if not applicable.

Unit of Measure

Item base unit of measure associated with the pack code. Required.

Default value: Each

Units per Measure

Number of master units required to create a component. If defining the master unit quantity, this is always one (1). All other UOMs are based on the master unit. Required.

Default value: 0
