Viewing order history prerequisites

After order status types are established, the final step is to enable the status types to be viewed on the corresponding order screen, such as Shipment Order and Flowthru. To view the status history for orders, two application setting options must be turned on in the Application Setting screen: LOGORDERHEADERSTATUS or LOGORDERDETAILSTATUS. These options determine whether the application retains order history. The options are as follows:

• If you select the LOGORDERHEADERSTATUS, only the history at the Order Header level is held and displayed.
• If you select the LOGORDERDETAILSTATUS, only the history at the Order Detail level is held and displayed.
• If both options are selected, all order status history (header and detail) is captured and displayed when you select View Status History from the corresponding order screen.
• If neither option is selected, the Status History tab does not display.
