Lottable/Fashion tab

Use this tab to define item attributes, including lottables, general and fashion characteristics, and label text.

  1. Click the Lottable/Fashion tab.
  2. Specify any Lottables, that is, the attributes that define information about an item's lot that makes the lot unique. For example, perishable items might be lotted by expiration date; clothing by mill number and size; or textiles by dye lot.
    • There are 12 lottable values that can be used within the system although 4 are dedicated for specific pre-determined date fields and cannot be changed.
    • To re-lot an item (change a lottable attribute) after it has been received, use the Transfer screen. See the Infor WMS Inventory Management User Guide for more information.
    • An internal WM lot number is created upon receipt for every new item/owner/lottables combination.
  3. Specify applicable general characteristics and/or fashion/textile characteristics for the item. These characteristics can also be used as lottable values if you populate them on this tab as the value(s) entered can be used with Lottable Validation functionality to auto-populate the lottable value(s) during ASN receiving. See the Configuring Lottable Display/Validation topic for additional information on lottable validation and lot masking.
  4. Specify Label Text data if desired. The label text fields (1-10) can be used to provide a short description of an attribute name (such as lot) that may be printed on a label to describe the corresponding attribute.
  5. Click Save.
