Configuring a Zone
The following sections cover all of the configuration options on the Zone screen.
The application Task Manager allows the warehouse to be divided into different zones and areas for purposes of task dispatch. A zone is a collection of locations. Each location can be in only one zone. When a zone is created, it is defining an area for the entire warehouse, not just the Putaway process. You assign a zone to a location on the Location screen.
Note: You can use the Excel Import and Export features to create or update
zones. With the Import feature, you can import, at a minimum, only the fields
required to create a zone; or you can import additional data into other Zone
fields. With the Export feature, you can select to export all data for selected
zones or only the data displayed on the list view. For additional information
