Creating payroll periods
Use this screen to define the payroll periods that are assigned to timesheets. After you create the payroll periods, assign the periods to facilities.
To create payroll periods:
- Select Enterprise > Configuration > Productivity > Payroll Period.
- Click New to access the Period list and detail views.

Specify this information:
- Period
- Specify a user-defined code for the period.
- Description
- Specify a description of the period.
- Period Type
- Select one of these pre-defined period types:
- Day
- Month
- Week
- Period Qty
- Specify the number of units within the period. For example, to define a biweekly period select Week as the Period Type and specify 2 as the number of weeks in the payroll period.
- Split Date
- If the period is semi-monthly, specify the date on which the month is split. For example, specify 15 to indicate that the first period starts on the first day of the month and ends on the fifteenth. The second period starts after the fifteenth.
- Week Ending Day
- If the period type is week, select the day on which the week ends.
- Click Save.
