Sorting with catch weight/data or end-to-end serial number capture and with Packing Quantity Always 1 field selected in Item configuration

The sorting process for an item with catch weight/data or end-to-end serial number capture and with the Packing Quantity Always 1 field selected within the Item Outbound configuration is the same as detailed above in Fulfilling batch picking orders with two exceptions.

After you specify or scan the From ID and Item number on the Sort Items BP04 screen and press Enter:

• The Serial Cap SM200 screen is displayed. See the Infor Supply Chain Execution Capture Weight, Serial Number, and Data User Guide for information on scanning data into the Serial Cap SM200 screen.
• After you complete the scanning of serial data, the Batch Sort BP07 screen is displayed without the Qty field. You do not need to confirm the quantity since it is always one (1). See the Infor Supply Chain Execution Configuration User Guide for information on the Packing Quantity Always 1 field within the Item Outbound configuration.
