Service Calendar View
The Service Calendar View graphically shows all the service windows for a given day combined with the service window slot name. The Service Calendar contains two views: list view and heat view. Using the Service Calendar page, the operator can perform these tasks:
- Change the day to view
- View the details for an appointment
- Expand a specific service window slot name to create a new service window
- Change the service window begin or end times
- Delete a service window
The Service Calendar view refreshes when changes are performed. The color of the service window changes based on the status of the appointment regarding the proximity of the service window time with respect to the trailer being serviced. Using these same color schemes as the Visual Warehouse and Visual Yard, the operator can see what needs attention and the status of their appointments and trailer service.
This table shows the status color and description:
Status | Color | Description |
---|---|---|
Passed | Red | Service window has passed and trailer has not received service. |
Soon | Yellow | Service window is within 2 hours and trailer has not received service. |
In Progress | Blue | Trailer is being serviced. |
Complete | Green | Trailer service is complete and trailer is ready to move. |
Future | Black | Trailer has service scheduled in the future but the time window is not within 2 hours. |
Each line in the view represents the appointment and shows the start and end time of the appointment. The service window time slot is highlighted within the appointment time window. You can use the service window time slot to slide the times to change the service window.
You can use the Service Calendar View to monitor how service windows are being performed for the day and to monitor when trailers need to be moved and what doors are being utilized.
On the Service Calendar View, you can view this information:
- Appointment ID
- Trailer ID
- Appointment location
You can use the appointment location to determine conflicts or door constraints, such as when adjacent service windows are utilizing the same door location.
