Setting up a Telnet user in Pragma

After installing Pragma software on your Windows server, you must set up at least one telnet user. On the Windows Start menu, access Pragma’s configuration dialogs by running the Local FortressSSH Configuration. In the User configuration, Pragma uses the settings for the default user unless another Windows user is added.

  1. Select Start > Local FortressSSH Configuration from the Windows menu to access Pragma’s configuration.
  2. Optionally, select Users to specify a new user. Pragma uses the settings for the default user unless another Windows user is added. All users that connect into the Windows server that do not have a local Windows account setup automatically uses Pragma’s default user configuration.
  3. Optionally, if you only want RF users to be able to connect via telnet and they have a specific Pragma user configuration, select the Only Allow Configured Users Access to Server.
