Profiles

Access Profiles through Enterprise > Administration > Mobile Personalization > Profiles.

The Mobile Profiles page is a collection of screens that can be displayed to a user’s device. These profiles are created in the profile screen and assigned to the users on the Mobile Users page. The profile page contains a list of all the customized screens that you have created. Standard product screens are automatically shown to the user unless a customized version, with the same name, is selected on the profile screen.

Mobile Profiles can be assigned in these two locations:

  • System Setting (DEFAULTMOBILEPROFILE): You can specify the profile here and it can be used by all the users that log into that facility if their profile has not been overridden on the Mobile Users page. This profile is useful when users move from one facility to another and require different facility-specific screens. This profile can also simplify the management of profiles so that you do not need to assign them individually on the Mobile Users page.
  • Mobile Users page (Enterprise > Administration > Mobile Personalization > Users): When a user is assigned a profile on this screen, the profile overrides the system setting and the profile is used for every facility the user selects on the RF.

If the profile is blank in both locations, the default profile with the standard product screens is used.
