Messaging

RF users can communicate with each other and with those in the office using the messaging feature. You can access the messaging feature using a function key or by selecting the dialog icon on the RF screen.

Conversations between users can be audited and reviewed using the Messaging Audit report at the Enterprise Reports menu.

Mobile users can customize the messaging permissions with these profiles:

• Mobile Messaging Read-Only
• Mobile Messaging Reply-Only
• Mobile Messaging Send-Reply (added to the RF User role so that the feature is enabled by default. )

These modes of operation can be configured to the messaging:

• No Access: If the profiles are not added to a mobile profile, messaging icon and f-keys are disabled.
• Read Only: The Reply option is disabled in this mode. You can only view messages that are sent.
• Read and Reply Only: You can read and reply to messages using this mode. You cannot initiate the new messages.
• All Access: You can have full access to the feature using this mode.
