Timeout Errors

Exceed Server Error: The virtual circuit was aborted due to timeout or other failure

This message displays when the TCP connection is closed by the OS or client. The MetaRF application will attempt to retry the connection to pick up where the user left off and avoid having to login again.

• Windows OS:

It will happen after about two hours of idle time (by default) —based on when the OS decides to re-check the connection for idle utilization. The Windows OS configuration value for it is called “KeepAliveTime” and if both ends of the connection are Windows OS—then either side of the channel can decide if the connection is “idle” and terminate it.
