Combining work orders

You can combine work orders into jobs. A job can contain one or more work orders. When a work order is combined, the job number increments to the next application-generated number.

Another option is to use the Combine All option, which combines all work orders in view, regardless of which check boxes you selected.

Note:  Combine All overrides the selected check boxes and combines all work orders. The application ignores work orders that are already combined.

The application then assigns the next available job number to the work orders that were combined, which in turn releases the work orders you selected to be combined.

  1. Select Work Order > Management > Work Order.
  2. To display a list, click Search.
  3. To indicate which work orders should be combined, select their corresponding check boxes.
  4. Click Action and select Combine.
  5. Click Save.
