Query Builder – Save Filter

Use the Query Builder – Save Filter page to save the search conditions saved in the form of a filter. You can then retrieve this filter at a later time.

You can modify this information as required for your environment.

To save a filter:

  1. Select Wave > Execution > Saved Filters. The Save Filter screen contains the information below.
  2. Specify this information:
    Filter Name
Specify a description for the filter.
    Wave Description Prefix
Specify the purpose of the wave when the scheduler creates it. When the scheduler uses this filter to create the wave, the system assigns this prefix followed by a generic number.
    Create Demand Wave from Scheduler
Select the check box if you want a demand wave to be created from the scheduler. By default, the check box is not selected. Note that a demand wave scheduler job only allocates the wave; no other action is performed.
  3. Specify this information in the Filter Header tab:
    Pull To Wall
Indicates if the wave is set to the Put To Wall location (sortation station).
Note: The Sortation Station and the Percentage Open Sort Locations fields are enabled if the Pull To Wall check box is selected.
    Sortation Station
The sort station that is used for the automatic batching process.
    Percentage Open Sort Locations
The percentage of open locations required for the sort station to perform the automatic batching process.
    Note:
    • The selected wave is cancelled, and the automatic batch process is not executed if the empty locations is lower than the specified number.
    • If there are multiple sort stations, the system selects the sort station that matches or the sort station with several open locations than the number of orders on the wave.
    • The Query Builder option is the only wave building logic that supports the auto batching process and sort station logics.
  4. Click Save to create the filter.
  5. After you save the filter, you can view current orders that meet the criteria by selecting Actions > Show Order List.
