International Shipping

For International shipping, where shipping country is different than the origin country, Infor SPS requires some additional export and custom related information. You can enter this information on the screens in Infor SPS. The integration between WM and Infor SPS for international shipments is a three step process:

  • Step 1 - WM sends a To HOLD API request to Infor SPS which stores the package details in a separate database.
  • Step 2 - The user utilizes Infor SPS UI screens to provide additional international information and Ships the package. At this time, the shipped information like rate and tracking number is still in Infor SPS and not in WM.
  • Step 3 - To get the rate and tracking information back in WM, select Outbound > Parcel Package Details.
    • Select the record/package which you shipped internationally in Infor SPS
    • Click Extract International Shipment Data to get the rate and tracking information from Infor SPS to WM.
    • If WM has already sent the initial information to Infor SPS, using TO HOLD API request, and you do not wish to process the international shipment in Infor SPS, click Delete Held International Shipment in Outbound > Parcel Package Details. This removes the unprocessed information from the separate HELD database in Infor SPS
