Processing updates

You can use the Load Maintenance screen to add or change the following fields: Door, Route, Load Sequence, Status, External Load ID, Stop Order, Carrier ID, and Trailer ID. This section describes additional processing updates.

Outbound Units tab

On the Load Maintenance screen, use this tab to perform the following tasks:

  • Viewing load tasks after the order has been allocated
  • Specifying a floor loaded order

A floor loaded order is an order that is no longer attached to a license plate and was loaded on the floor.

  • Reassigning an order to a different Route, Load ID, and Stop before loading
  • Assigning a specific loading sequence and position to the load.

When you update these fields, the application dispatches RF load tasks to the loader based on the specified load sequence. Using this option, you cannot override the suggested ID during loading. You must use the defined sequence. The position indicates the position on the truck where you must place the order.

Note:
  • If the Load Sequence field on the Load Maintenance screen is set to No Restrictions, defined sequencing does not apply.
  • Load tasks are created during the Allocation process. When Shipment Orders that have already been allocated are added to a Load, the system creates all of the necessary load tasks so the warehouse can load the newly added units.

Seals tab

On the Load Maintenance screen, use this tab to add trailer seal information to a load. Generally, you can apply seals to trailer doors after loading and before trailer shipment.

Pick Summary tab

On the Load Maintenance screen, use the Pick Summary tab to view the progress of the outbound processing for orders assigned to the pick load. The table shows the statuses of the picks and this information:

  • Quantity is based on master units within each pick
  • Number of picks is a count of the pick detail or demand allocation records
  • Percentage is based on the number of picks
