Loading by license plate
Use the Loading by License Plate option for the operator to scan a picked license plate and use information on the order and load to direct you to the location.
-

Menu.
-
From the RF device
Main menu, select
Outbound Menu. The
Outbound Mgmt (OBM) menu is
displayed.
-
Select

is displayed.
-
Select

Load Management (LDM) menu
is displayed.
-
Select
Load by LPN. The
Load LPN (LDL1) screen is displayed.
Note: If the Labor Module within the SCE application is enabled and you did not select to start work, a message indicating that you need to start work before continuing is displayed. See the Infor WMS Productivity and Labor User Guide for information on starting and stopping work.
-
Scan or enter the license plate to load. The
Load LPN (LDL2) screen is displayed.
If the SCE Labor module is enabled, the standard time for the task is displayed on the screen.
The system searches for an available load for the license plate.
The criteria used to direct the load task:
- If there is a customer and door on the shipment order, look for an open load for that customer and door.
- If a customer is on the load, look for a matching customer on the shipment order.
- If no ship-to customer is designated for the load but a door was assigned to the order and an open load exists for that door, direct the operator to that door.
- Confirm the Door and Stop fields to complete the load to this door. The default stop is 1. This adds the license plate to the load detail and moves the inventory to the Door location.
-
For the Floor
Loaded field, select Y for Yes
to specify that the contents of the license plate were physically placed on the floor
of the trailer and are no longer part of a license plate. Otherwise, specify
N for No.
This information is used when BOL information is printed so that the contents of the unit IDs for the order are listed as loose and not listed on an LPN.
If the SCE Labor module is enabled, the task performance information is displayed.
