Receiving item or EAN number for each piece

  1. On the RF device, select Main > Receiving.
  2. Optionally, specify the printer ID of a printer at your facility that is set up to print labels.
  3. Press Enter. The Receiving Menu (RCM) screen is displayed.
  4. Select More > Each Piece Scan.
  5. Specify this information:
    Receipt
    Specify the receipt number.
    Loc
    Optionally, specify a different receiving location. This field is populated with the default receiving location associated with the specified receipt number.
  6. Press Enter, and then scan or specify the LPN or box ID .

    These options for the LPN not on ASN for Each Piece Scanning field on the Receipt Validation page determines whether the specified LPN is received:

    • Allow: If selected, then you can scan any generic LPN and continue the process.
    • Warning: If selected and you enter an LPN that does not match the ASN detail line's LPN, then a warning message is displayed. If you click Yes, then the generic LPN entered is allowed and you can enter a location. If you click No, then you must scan or enter a different LPN or box ID.
    • Hard Error: If selected and you enter an LPN that does not match the ASN detail line's LPN , then an error message is displayed. If you click OK, then you must scan or enter a different LPN or box ID.
  7. Press Enter.
  8. In the Each Piece Receiving REP03L screen, scan or specify the item or EAN number.

    You can view a scanned summery by pressing F6 while in the REP03 or REP03L screens.

  9. Press Enter. If the scanned item is valid, then the LPN quantity is displayed as 1 and increases with each subsequent scans for the same item.

    If the scanned item is configured for capturing lottables, then the Each Piece Receiving REP03 screen shows the corresponding lottables fields. The Capture Lottables with Each Piece Scan option determines how lottables are used. When this option is not selected, you can enter the lottable value for the first scan of an item without having to enter the lottable value for subsequent scans of the same item. When this option is selected, you must enter the lottables for the item and press Enter, then for each subsequent scan the previously entered lottable value is displayed.

  10. To complete scanning of all items, press F4. At the confirmation message, click OK.

    To abort the scan or restart the scanning of the items in an LPN from the beginning, press F8 or the Esc key from the REP03 or REP03L screens.
