Putaway strategy

Configure putaway strategies on the Putaway Strategy screen. To open the screen, select Configuration > Strategies > Putaway. After product is received into the warehouse, it is directed to the appropriate location based on the putaway strategy.

Depending on the putaway type on the Putaway Strategy Detail screen, you might need to define a zone as well.

For example, Search Specified Zone for Suitable Location would require you to define a zone on the Item screen. The Zone field on the Item screen can be found on either the List tab or the Other tab.
